The 98 Composite Brigade was established in the year 1998 to protect the Bangabandhu Bridge which is considered one of the essential establishments. After establishing the bridge, the army authority feels the necessity of establishing a school for the educational development of the under privileged people of the surrounding Jamuna river bank area of Bangabandhu Bridge. Accordingly, with the financial support 19 Infantry Division, 98 Composite Brigade established the ĘŊĘŊLittle Star English SchoolĘŧĘŧ on 5th August, 2007 and opened classes from Nursery to class STD-3. After a year later Bangla version was added beside English version. In the year 2015, 98 Composite Brigade was transferred into Bangabandhu Cantonment. The school was also transferred to Bangabandhu Cantonment premises and the school has been renamed as ĘģĘģBangabandhu Cantonment Public SchoolĘŧĘŧ. Afterwards in 2018 the school has been upgraded into college. At present in the Bangla version there are classes from Nursery to class Ten and in the English version there are classes from Play to class Five. There are 28 well-educated teachers and about 600 regular students. Day by day the institution is progressing under the strict guidance and supervision of the 98 Composite Brigade and has been exhibiting the prestigious result among the all local area educational institutions. The syllabus and the academic calendar are common to all cantonment public school & college located in different garrisons. The institution has been contributing to spread the light of education among the children of military personals and local areas people.
